Our hand stamped leather journal cover features an intricate basket weave design. It has a clasp closure, hair on hide accent and a flower concho. The inside is fully lined with soft black suede.

Our 'Cowgirl Up' Junior Legal Pad Cover has an embossed hand carved and hand tooled horse head with hand carved rope border into a heart-shape and an outer flower border. Soft supple leather finished in a medium brown. There's plenty of room inside for business cards, notes, and receipts. It is finished with double loop leather lacing. A great leather accessory for every cowgirl on the go!

Our leather personal journal is Sheridan inspired. Hand carved and hand stamped journal cover with a center diamond that can be personalized with your name or initials. Cowgirl Pin Ups

Gil Elvgren's paintings are second in value only to originals by Vargas. Gil Elvgren was an American painter of pin-up girls, advertising and illustration. Elvgren was one of the most important pin-up and glamour artists of the 20th century.

In 1937, Gil began painting calendar pin-ups for Louis F. Dow, one of America's leading publishing companies, during which time he created about 60 works. Around 1944, Gil was approached by Brown and Bigelow, a firm producing calendars and advertising specialties.

Elvgren was a commercial success. His clients ranged from Brown and Bigelow, Coca-Cola, General Electric and Sealy Mattress Company. In addition, during the 1940s and 1950s he illustrated stories for a host of magazines, such as The Saturday Evening Post and Good Housekeeping.
